
30 development projects to be implemented in Security Zone
An additional 30 development projects will be implemented in localities within the Security Zone, through the National Reintegration Program for 2025. The document, approved by the government provides for the funding of regional and community development activities.
Main objectives include the modernization of educational institutions - renovation and equipping kindergartens in the region, and providing support for the eight Romanian-language educational institutions in the Transnistrian region.
Moreover, recreational areas and other public spaces will be arranged by installing street lighting. At the same time, administrative, social, cultural, and sports buildings will be repaired and equipped.
Other planned activities include the construction of Holercani Fire and Rescue Unit in Dubăsari district, the repair of the family doctors’ office in Salcia village, Șoldănești district, and equipping the family doctors’ office in Cocieri with medical equipment.
Central and local public administration authorities, beneficiaries of the Program, will utilize financial resources accordingly, by the end of the fourth quarter of 2025.
In total, during the period 2011-2024, 586 projects worth over 189 million lei were funded through the program.
Also, at the Cabinet meeting, it was decided to allocate over 3 million lei to Dubăsari District Council. The financial resources will be used to partially compensate the expenses incurred by the owners and holders of agricultural lands located beyond Rîbnița-Tiraspol route, due to illegal charges imposed when passing through unauthorized control posts.
