President met with Moldovan diaspora in Frankfurt, Munich, Stuttgart
On 21-23 June 2025, President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu held meetings with Moldovan citizens settled in Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart. The official expressed appreciation and gratitude for the active contribution of the diaspora in promoting a positive image of Moldova worldwide: "Wherever I go - in meetings with heads of state, local leaders, or European officials - I hear words of praise about our Moldovans: hardworking, honest, respected. People who spread the good news of Moldova all over the world."
At the meetings with members of the Moldovan communities in Germany, the President discussed the problems of our citizens abroad and possible solutions. The head of state also talked about the changes taking place in the country: investments in roads, hospitals, and schools, progress in the European path of the Republic of Moldova, and measures for strengthening peace and security. Furthermore, issues related to the difficulties faced by the diaspora and possible solutions to meet their needs were also addressed.
"Whether we are at home or abroad, the future of Moldova depends on all of us. Solidarity and the involvement of every Moldovan who desires a modern, fair and European country are needed," said Maia Sandu.
The President encouraged diaspora citizens to remain active in supporting the transformation of Moldova and to participate in the democratic process and important decisions for the country's future.
