Moldovan Ministry of Defense: movements of military equipment to take place on country's roads
The Ministry of Defense has informed that, during June, movements of military equipment would take place between the National Army training centers from Chisinau and Cahul.
According to the institution, these actions are part of the army's regular training programme and are not related to the security situation in the region.
"The military equipment will be primarily transported at night on national roads in the central and southern parts of the country, in order to avoid traffic congestion. These activities are planned in advance, every year, for the professional preparation of the military personnel," announced the Ministry of Defense.
In the context, the institution urged citizens to follow official information and not to be misled by false or manipulative news.
