Moldova's electronics industry has energy, potential and ambition, and the government actively supports the direction. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement today. He participated in Moldova Electronics Forum.
The official said that the Forum is a platform for dialogue between industry, academia and authorities, where ideas are shaped, partnerships are formed, and the future technological directions of the country are outlined.
The Prime Minister outlined the actions carried out recently to support the electronics industry.
“We have expanded the eligible activities within IT parks to include research and applied development in electronics, and we encourage investments in technical education. We aim for competitive companies, innovative technologies and well-trained specialists who will transform this industry into a sustainable economic growth engine,” said Recean.
The 4th edition of Moldova Electronics Forum was organized today in Chișinău. The event brought together government officials, industry leaders, investors and academic representatives in an event that marks the strategic direction of the sector.
This year's edition addresses the digitalization of companies in the electronics industry, integration into European value chains, online businesses promotion, innovation as a tool for resilience and the future of engineering in the Republic of Moldova.
