Government simplifies return and reintegration process for diaspora citizens
Diaspora citizens will benefit from personalized support through counseling, recognition of studies and assistance for starting businesses, from the pre-return stage to full reintegration. The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the establishment of the national return assistance mechanism.
It will operate as a one-stop shop, set up within the Diaspora Relations Office, providing informational assistance in administrative, economic and social areas.
The support will be structured on three levels of assistance: initial information and guidance, specialized support from public institutions, and if necessary, services and programs not covered by the public system, including legal and psychological counseling, access to mentoring programs and training courses.
Through the mechanism, the government aims to strengthen the relationship with the diaspora, harness the professional experience gained abroad, encourage the return of professionals from abroad and develop more effective public policies centered on citizens' needs.
